The Rooster Association was formally constituted in 2006, thereby establishing a structure more likely to ensure the continuity of the newsletter. A committee was elected to determine overall policy. However, in early 2011, it was suggested that the affairs of the Association be wound up. This suggestion led to renewed public interest and a new committee was elected.
